Privacy Policy

• Account & identity: Name, email address, phone number (collected at checkout), country, and profile photo (uploaded from your device photo library).
• Authentication: Login credentials, OAuth tokens (Google/GitHub), and session tokens stored securely in your device's secure storage (mobile app).
• Resume & career data: Resume files and text, work history, skills, education, certifications, target roles, preferred locations, security clearance status, sponsorship requirements, and job-hunt preferences.
• AI-generated content: Tailored resumes, cover letters, and Jobscout match outputs generated on your behalf using your uploaded data.
• Usage & engagement data: Daily app-visit streaks, job applications tracked, Jobscout/credit usage, community interactions (likes, saves, poll answers), pages visited, and in-app events.
• Billing & subscription metadata: Subscription plan, billing status, renewal history, and invoice records. We do not store raw card data — payments are processed by Stripe.
• Device & technical data: Device type, OS version, app version, and error/crash logs for reliability and support purposes.

The Drivetube mobile app requests only the following device permission:

• Photo Library: Accessed only when you choose to upload a profile photo. We access only the image you explicitly select — we do not scan or index your photo library.

We do not request or access your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or any other device data.

• Service delivery: Resume setup, Jobscout matching, Cover Letter AI, Apply-or-Skip, Missed Skills, Interview AI, Curate AI, application tracking, and Job Hunt Program management.
• AI processing: Your resume and profile data is sent to our backend servers to generate tailored documents, match scores, and career insights. AI outputs are generated solely to provide the service to you.
• Account & billing: Managing subscriptions, processing payments via Stripe, sending invoices, renewal confirmations, and payment failure notifications.
• Order fulfillment: Contacting you via email and (if provided) WhatsApp strictly for resume/package order coordination.
• Support & communications: Responding to support requests, service updates, and legal/policy notices.
• Security & fraud prevention: Detecting abuse, unauthorized access, chargebacks, and policy violations.
• Product improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics to improve reliability, UX, and features.

Your uploads are yours. You retain all intellectual property rights over your resume and content. We process them only to provide the service you requested.

The Drivetube iOS app does not process any in-app purchases. iOS users are directed to drivetube.ai to complete purchases on the web. No payment data is collected or transmitted through the iOS app itself.

We share limited data with trusted service providers strictly to operate the service:

• Stripe: Payment processing, subscription billing, and invoice management. Stripe is PCI-DSS certified. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Cloud & storage providers: Secure hosting of your account data, uploaded files, and generated documents.
• Email delivery providers: Sending transactional emails (receipts, renewal confirmations, payment failure alerts, OTP codes).
• Analytics providers: Aggregated, anonymized usage data for product improvement. No personal data is sold to advertisers.
• AI processing: Resume and career data is processed on our own backend infrastructure to generate outputs. We do not share your resume data with third-party AI providers in a way that allows them to train on or retain your data.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

• TLS encryption for all data in transit.
• Role-based access controls and least-privilege infrastructure.
• Audit logging and anomaly detection.
• Card data processed exclusively by PCI-DSS certified partners (Stripe). We never store raw card numbers.
• Session tokens on mobile are stored in your device's secure enclave (expo-secure-store), not in plain storage.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Billing and transaction records may be retained for legally required periods (typically 7 years for financial records under applicable law). Upon account deletion, personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

• Access & update: View and edit your profile data from your account settings at any time.
• Account & data deletion: You may request full deletion of your account and personal data by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process requests within 30 days.
• Subscription cancellation: Manage or cancel your subscription from your profile/billing page at any time.
• Communication preferences: You may opt out of non-transactional communications. Transactional emails (receipts, renewal alerts, OTP) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
• Data portability: You may request a copy of your personal data by contacting [email protected].

Drivetube.ai is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform or mobile app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
