Drivetube MCP: connect ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps
The Drivetube MCP connects a Drivetube One account to ChatGPT, Claude or any app that supports the Model Context Protocol. After signing in on drivetube.ai and approving, the AI can run Jobscout for the day, review each opening against the member's Drivetube profile, remove wrong matches with a reason that Drivetube uses to improve its job scraper and matching engine, tailor resumes and cover letters, and, when it acts as an agent, apply using the member's tailored files and saved application answers. What the Drivetube MCP does
The Drivetube MCP lets an AI assistant work on your Drivetube One account the way you would on the dashboard. You stay in control: you approve the connection on drivetube.ai, the AI only sees your own account, and every action follows your plan's rules.
A typical daily run:
- Scout. The AI runs Jobscout for the last 24, 48 or 72 hours. New matches land in your Openings; jobs that failed a check go to Held back with the reason.
- Review. It reads each opening's full job description, the Jobscout checks and the score breakdown, and compares them with your Drivetube profile.
- Remove wrong matches, with the reason. When a job does not fit (wrong level, wrong domain, sponsorship not offered, stale listing…), the AI removes it and states what was wrong. Drivetube reads these reasons to fix its job scraper and the Jobscout engine, so matching gets better for everyone.
- Tailor. For the jobs worth applying to, it confirms the title, company, location and description and starts tailoring your resume and cover letter.
- Apply (agent mode). An AI that can browse can then download your tailored resume and cover letter, use your saved application answers to fill the form on the company's site, and mark the job as applied with the confirmation link as proof.
- Report. It finishes with a short summary for you and for Drivetube.
Connect it
Server URL: https://drivetube.ai/api/mcp/drivetube
- Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app): Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, paste the server URL, leave the OAuth fields empty, then Connect.
- ChatGPT: Settings › Connectors (developer mode) › Create, paste the server URL, choose OAuth, then Connect.
- Other MCP apps: add a remote (Streamable HTTP) MCP server with the URL above; the app discovers sign-in automatically.
You are sent to drivetube.ai to sign in and approve. The app can then act on your account until you disconnect it in the app.

Plans and credits
The MCP is included with every Drivetube One plan. Tailoring through the MCP costs the same as on the dashboard: one resume credit per tailored resume (Community and Resume Tailor), or one application on Let Us Apply. Openings expire on the same schedule: 24 hours for matched jobs, 7 days for jobs you added.

Privacy
Connecting gives the app the access listed above for your account only. Drivetube stores the reasons the AI gives for removing openings, linked to the job, to improve matching. Disconnect any time from your AI app.

Jobscout AI is Drivetube's job matching engine. It reads your Base Resume with no settings to configure, runs six deterministic checks on every opening — country and domain, confirmed-new listing, experience range, company not already applied, no security clearance, and visa sponsorship — and scores each job 0-100 weighted on core stack identity (62 points) rather than keyword overlap. Every check is shown on the card, including failed ones in red, and jobs held back can be added anyway.
