Projects

IoT-Based Smart Parking System | Jan 2025 – Jan 2025
Tools Used: Microcontrollers, Sensors, MQTT, Python, Embedded Hardware Prototyping
  • Designed and prototyped an IoT-enabled parking detection system using sensors and microcontroller-based hardware to detect available parking slots in real time.
  • Implemented sensor data acquisition and processing firmware to reliably identify slot occupancy and forward status messages to an IoT broker using MQTT.
  • Built backend scripts in Python to aggregate incoming sensor telemetry and store status data for monitoring and analysis.
  • Integrated a remote monitoring workflow to present parking availability status for stakeholders and enable immediate notifications for slot changes.
  • Performed system-level testing and calibration of sensors to improve detection reliability and reduce false positives during varied environmental conditions.
IoT-Based Smart Kitchen Monitoring System | Jun 2025 – Jun 2025
Tools Used: Sensors, Microcontrollers, Embedded Hardware Prototyping, PCB Design, Real-time Monitoring
  • Developed a gas-leak and temperature monitoring solution to detect hazardous conditions in kitchen environments using gas sensors and temperature sensors.
  • Implemented real-time alerting logic on embedded firmware to trigger safety notifications when thresholds were exceeded.
  • Engineered hardware prototypes and produced PCB designs to create a compact monitoring unit suitable for field deployment.
  • Validated system performance through controlled testing scenarios and refined alert thresholds to minimize false alarms.
  • Prepared technical documentation and safety feature specifications that supported a research publication on the system.
