- Designed and prototyped a vehicle accident prevention and reporting system that monitors distance to obstacles and triggers audible alarms when a potential collision is detected.
- Integrated GPS module to capture location coordinates and GSM module to enable automated SMS reporting of accident location to predefined contacts.
- Implemented microcontroller firmware in Embedded C to read sensor data, evaluate safe distance thresholds, and manage alarm and communication routines.
- Developed serial communication routines to interface sensors and GPS/GSM modules, ensuring reliable data exchange and timely alerts.
- Performed hardware prototyping and iterative testing on breadboard with sensor calibration to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
