Work Experience
BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited)
Visakhapatnam, India
Intern
Jun 2025 – Jul 2025
Worked at BSNL, India's state telecom operator, supporting live wired, wireless and optical-fiber network operations in the Visakhapatnam circle.
Tech Stack: 4G LTE, 5G, Massive MIMO, Beamforming MRT, ZF, Optical fiber, 802.11n, 802.11ax, CDMA, DHCP, DNS
- Configured and tested wired access and Wi‑Fi equipment across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands; validated connectivity and channel allocation using Wi‑Fi diagnostics and basic LAN troubleshooting methods.
- Assessed 4G → 5G transition technologies by observing Massive MIMO behavior and documenting trade-offs between MRT and ZF precoding to support migration analysis.
- Assisted in optical fiber link testing and fault diagnostics; recorded attenuation and link-test observations to support capacity planning and restoration activities.
- Worked with CDMA and switching infrastructure teams to trace call/session flows and helped execute maintenance checks during scheduled windows.
- Collected configuration and live performance data from sites serving thousands of subscribers; prepared technical notes identifying coverage and throughput bottlenecks.
- Presented internship findings and recommended beamforming parameter and Wi‑Fi channel planning adjustments to local engineers to improve spectral efficiency.
Projects
Spectral Efficiency Analysis of Massive MIMO Using MRT & ZF Beamforming | Nov 2025 – Apr 2026
Tools Used: MATLAB, Massive MIMO, Beamforming MRT, ZF, Rayleigh fading, SINR, Signal processing
- Designed and simulated a multi-user Massive MIMO downlink in MATLAB under Rayleigh fading to compare MRT and ZF precoding approaches.
- Implemented MRT and ZF precoding algorithms and measured per-user SINR and overall spectral efficiency across varying SNR, antenna (M) and user (K) counts.
- Derived and validated the received signal model, ZF precoding matrix and closed-form SINR expressions used in the analysis.
- Observed and reported that ZF precoding delivers higher spectral efficiency at high SNR in the tested scenarios; documented results for publication.
Smart Hospitals using IoT | May 2024 – Jul 2024
Tools Used: Arduino, ESP8266, LM35, AD8232, SpO2 sensor, Cloud computing
- Built a real-time patient monitoring prototype using Arduino and ESP8266 to stream telemetry from six sensors (temperature, ECG, SpO2, blood pressure).
- Implemented cloud-based alerting for abnormal vitals and integrated a lightweight anomaly detection routine to flag events.
- Developed firmware and data formatting for reliable telemetry; used Git for version control and iterative testing.
- Validated system behavior with simulated patient inputs and documented alert thresholds and end-to-end data flow.
