- Designed and deployed a fault-tolerant web infrastructure in AWS using EC2 instances inside a custom VPC to practice production-style network isolation and segmentation.
- Implemented least-privilege access by creating IAM roles and policies for EC2 and related services to secure resource access and reduce manual credential usage.
- Configured an Elastic Load Balancer with an Auto Scaling group to distribute incoming traffic and maintain availability during variable load conditions.
- Provisioned RDS for backend data persistence and integrated it with EC2 application servers to validate connectivity and failover behavior.
- Set up CloudWatch metrics and alarms with SNS notifications to enable real-time alerting on instance health, CPU and network thresholds.
