HiringCafe Review: Free Job Search From Company Websites, Compared

HiringCafe is a legitimate, free job search engine run by SPICYHR INC. It says it collects jobs directly from company websites in real time and filters out recruiting agencies and fake consulting firms, and it offers more filters than most boards, from date posted and experience to security clearance, benefits and company stage. It does not apply for you, does not say how its tags are made or how accurate they are, and lists no separate visa-sponsorship filter. Its privacy policy says it does not sell your data for money, but advertising partners collect browsing data and Talent Network profiles are visible to employers.

HiringCafe is legitimate and free, and of all the job search tools we compared it is the closest to Drivetube's board. HiringCafe says it collects jobs directly from company websites in real time, filters out external recruiting agencies and fake consulting firms, and keeps improving its detection of stale postings and duplicates. HiringCafe is a free job search engine operated by SPICYHR INC. Search, filters, saved searches, a tracker and a Talent Agent that searches daily for matches are free for job seekers; we found no paid tier. The differences are in how the filters are made, how freshness is handled, and what happens after you find a job.

Job quality and filter accuracy

Reading jobs from company websites is the right source, and filtering out agencies and fake consulting firms removes a large share of the noise on big boards. HiringCafe also has one of the widest filter sets anywhere. Its filters include date posted, apply process, experience, salary, benefits, education, licences, security clearance, languages, shifts, travel, and company industry, stage and size; each card shows the time since posting and the years of experience required. It does not say how these tags are made or how accurate they are, and lists no separate visa-sponsorship filter.

So the question is how far you can trust a tag. A filter that is wrong 20% of the time quietly hides one good job in five. Drivetube publishes its own figures so you can judge:

  • Experience figures are read from each posting by fixed rules, with no AI model. In an independent check of 1,198 fresh postings on 3 November 2026, the rules agreed with the reviewer on 95.7%.
  • In the same check, security-clearance tags were right 92.6% of the time they said 'required' (precision) and caught 97.7% of postings that required one (recall).
  • Visa sponsorship has three states: the posting offers it, refuses it, or does not mention it (most postings say nothing). The tag is read from the posting's own words by fixed rules, which pass 98.9% of 7,004 test sentences with no false offers.
  • Only about one listing in six carries a job-family (domain) tag, so the domain filter misses most of the board; search by keyword as well.

Applying and privacy

  • HiringCafe does not apply for you: job cards open the employer's posting and the Talent Agent only finds matches. Its Claude and ChatGPT search tools cannot submit applications.
  • Its privacy policy says it does not sell personal information for money or use your resume for advertising, but advertising partners collect device identifiers, IP address and browsing activity (counted as sharing under California law), some visits are session-recorded, and if you join the Talent Network, employers and recruiters with an account can see your name, resume, work history and skills.

Where HiringCafe is the better choice

  • You want the most filters on a free board: benefits, education, licences, shifts, travel, company stage and size.
  • You want a free board with no membership for any filter; some Drivetube filters need Drivetube One.

How Drivetube differs

HiringCafe Drivetube
Price Free Board free; Drivetube One paid
Job source Company websites Employers' own career pages and ATSs (50+ systems)
Posting date Time since posting on each card Employer's own date; 3-day listings (60 for sponsorship)
Visa sponsorship No separate filter listed Offers / refuses / not mentioned, read from the posting
Published tag accuracy Not stated Experience, clearance, sponsorship audits
After you find a job You apply Apply yourself, with the Apply Agent, or have an expert apply (Let Us Apply)
  • The Drivetube Job Board is free with no account. It reads jobs from 50+ applicant tracking systems across 110,000+ company career pages and every listing links to the employer's own application page. Listings stay for three days from the employer's posting date; jobs whose posting offers visa sponsorship stay for 60 days, so use the 'posted' filter if you only want the newest.
  • Jobscout, the matching engine in Drivetube One, runs fixed checks on every opening (market, freshness, experience range, already applied, security clearance, sponsorship refusal), never shows a job asking for more years than you have, scores the rest on your core stack skills, and shows every failed check instead of hiding the job.
  • The Drivetube Apply Agent (Chrome extension) fills the employer's own form from your Drivetube Profile. By default it stops before the final submit so you can review and click it yourself; if you switch on Automatic mode it submits for you. On forms it has not seen before, an AI model chooses each step.
  • With the Let Us Apply add-on, a Drivetube expert finds jobs that pass every Jobscout check, tailors each application and submits it on the company's own careers site. A person submits every application; no AI agent is used. You get a daily WhatsApp and email report with the resume, cover letter and proof of submission for each job.

Remote Rocketship Review: Is It Legit, and Is It Worth Paying For?

Remote Rocketship is a legitimate paid remote job board run by Rocketship Jobs Ltd in London. It builds its listings by scanning the career pages and applicant tracking systems of over 100,000 companies, sends you to the employer's own site to apply, and never applies for you itself. Browsing is free, but seeing every result and the salary, visa-sponsorship and seniority filters needs a plan ($29 a month, $59 a quarter or $99 a year, refundable within 14 days). It admits you will occasionally open a job that closed since its last scan, and its terms give it a broad licence over resumes you submit.

Drivetube Job Board

The Drivetube Job Board is a free, verified job board with no account required — over 120,000 live openings from 14,000+ companies actively hiring, crawled ATS by ATS from real company career pages across 38 ATS platforms in the US, Europe, Canada, UK, India and Australia. Live counts are published at /jobboard/live-stats and as JSON at /api/jobboard/stats. Its defining difference is the posted date: most boards display the date their own system first saw a job, while Drivetube stores only the true posting date from the source ATS and no database timestamp at all, so a crawl date cannot be shown. Jobs are deleted 3 days after their real posting date (sponsorship roles are kept up to 60 days), there are no ghost jobs, ad-sponsored listings or staffing reposts and every listing links to the company's own application page.

Ghost Jobs: What They Are and How to Spot One Before You Apply

A ghost job is a posting for a role the employer is not actively filling: already filled, on hold, kept open to collect resumes, or a stale copy on a job board after the employer removed it. You cannot prove a job is real from the listing, but four checks catch most ghost jobs: find the same job on the company's own careers page, check the employer's original posting date rather than the board's, look for reposts of the same role, and be wary of vague roles that never close. Apply within a few days of the real posting date.

Jobright Review: Job Matching, H-1B Filters and Auto-Apply

Jobright is a legitimate AI job-search copilot that matches jobs, autofills applications on thousands of ATS platforms (you submit), tailors resumes and offers an Agent that applies for you. It claims 8,000,000+ jobs but does not say where they come from on its public pages, and job-seeker prices are not shown on a public page. Its H-1B filter is one of the most clearly explained: it separates postings that state sponsorship from companies that sponsored similar roles before, and calls it a starting point, not a guarantee. Its privacy notice says AI features run through OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and AWS.
