Remote Rocketship Review: Is It Legit, and Is It Worth Paying For?
Remote Rocketship is a legitimate paid remote job board run by Rocketship Jobs Ltd in London. It builds its listings by scanning the career pages and applicant tracking systems of over 100,000 companies, sends you to the employer's own site to apply, and never applies for you itself. Browsing is free, but seeing every result and the salary, visa-sponsorship and seniority filters needs a plan ($29 a month, $59 a quarter or $99 a year, refundable within 14 days). It admits you will occasionally open a job that closed since its last scan, and its terms give it a broad licence over resumes you submit.
On this page
Remote Rocketship is legitimate: a paid remote job board that reads company career pages and sends you to the employer to apply. Its software "continuously scans the career pages and applicant tracking systems of over 100,000 company websites", and "We don't wait for employers to pay us to post jobs". You can browse free, but most of the useful filters need a plan, and like any board that scans on a schedule, it will sometimes show a job that has just closed.
What Remote Rocketship does
| Question | What Remote Rocketship's own site says |
|---|---|
| Where jobs come from | Career pages and ATSs of 100,000+ companies |
| Free or paid | Browse free; a plan to see every job |
| Price | $29/month, $59/quarter, $99/year; 14-day refund |
| Who applies | You, on the employer's site; optional AI Copilot run by JobCopilot |
| Job totals | 150,000+, "over 100,000" and 180,000+ on different pages |
Job quality and filter accuracy
Reading career pages directly is the right way to build a board: there is no employer paying to appear, and the link goes to the real application. It re-scans "continuously" and removes dead listings every day, but says "you will occasionally click into a job that closed since our last scan".
You can filter by country and time zone; paid plans unlock every result "including salary, visa sponsorship and seniority" and hourly or daily email alerts. The site does not say how the visa-sponsorship and seniority tags are decided or how often they are right, so read the posting before you rely on them.
Security and privacy
Its terms give it "a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, modify, distribute, and create derivative works" from resumes you submit, while its legitimacy page says "we never sell your data to recruiters". In plain terms: if you submit a resume to Remote Rocketship, its terms let it use that resume broadly. If you only browse and apply on employers' sites, this does not apply to you.
Where Remote Rocketship is the better choice
- You want remote roles across many countries, filtered by the countries and time zones you can work in.
- You want hourly or daily email alerts for saved searches.
- You want older listings too; most Drivetube listings expire three days after posting.
How Drivetube differs
Both read jobs from employers' own systems and send you to the employer to apply. The differences:
| Remote Rocketship | Drivetube | |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Remote jobs, many countries | All work types, six regions |
| Free access | Partial; a plan to see every job | Full board free, no account |
| Freshness | Continuous re-scans; some closed jobs | 3 days by the employer's own date (60 for sponsorship jobs) |
| Published filter accuracy | No | Experience, clearance and sponsorship audit figures |
- The Drivetube Job Board is free with no account. It reads jobs from 50+ applicant tracking systems across 110,000+ company career pages and every listing links to the employer's own application page. Listings stay for three days from the employer's posting date; jobs whose posting offers visa sponsorship stay for 60 days, so use the 'posted' filter if you only want the newest.
- The date on a Drivetube listing is the employer's own posting date from its applicant tracking system, and the listing expires on that date's clock (three days, or 60 for jobs that offer visa sponsorship), so a job discovered late still ages out on its real age.
- Experience figures are read from each posting by fixed rules, with no AI model. In an independent check of 1,198 fresh postings on 3 November 2026, the rules agreed with the reviewer on 95.7%.
- Visa sponsorship has three states: the posting offers it, refuses it, or does not mention it (most postings say nothing). The tag is read from the posting's own words by fixed rules, which pass 98.9% of 7,004 test sentences with no false offers.
- Free filters: country, seniority, employment type, salary, recency, company and free-text search. The domain picker, the MAANNGOS big-tech filter, visa sponsorship, security clearance, workplace type and application time need a Drivetube One Community membership.

There is no single best AI job search tool; each one helps with a different step. Before you choose one, check four things: where its jobs come from, how its filters are decided, who presses submit, and what it does with your data.
Jobgether Review: Is It Legit, and How Does Its Auto-Apply Work?
Jobgether is a real remote-job matching platform with a free tier (5 matches a week, manual apply) and Jobgether Premium, which applies to up to 10 jobs a day for you on company sites using your Jobgether profile and pushes your profile to the hiring manager when you rank in the top five. Its filters cover salary, language, contract type, industry, company, experience band and location, but not posting date or visa sponsorship, and its pages give different job totals without explaining how jobs are verified. Premium has a 14-day full refund.
Drivetube Job Board
The Drivetube Job Board is a free, verified job board with no account required — over 120,000 live openings from 14,000+ companies actively hiring, crawled ATS by ATS from real company career pages across 38 ATS platforms in the US, Europe, Canada, UK, India and Australia. Live counts are published at /jobboard/live-stats and as JSON at /api/jobboard/stats. Its defining difference is the posted date: most boards display the date their own system first saw a job, while Drivetube stores only the true posting date from the source ATS and no database timestamp at all, so a crawl date cannot be shown. Jobs are deleted 3 days after their real posting date (sponsorship roles are kept up to 60 days), there are no ghost jobs, ad-sponsored listings or staffing reposts and every listing links to the company's own application page.
Ghost Jobs: What They Are and How to Spot One Before You Apply
A ghost job is a posting for a role the employer is not actively filling: already filled, on hold, kept open to collect resumes, or a stale copy on a job board after the employer removed it. You cannot prove a job is real from the listing, but four checks catch most ghost jobs: find the same job on the company's own careers page, check the employer's original posting date rather than the board's, look for reposts of the same role, and be wary of vague roles that never close. Apply within a few days of the real posting date.
